Online Tibetan Yoga Course, did you say? What is this story?
"Bah... it's not possible, some would say..." "pfff, it's not pleasant, it's not like being in a real room" will say others... but before you say anything... have they tried?
This model took shape in the United States more than fifteen years ago and the system is now very well established. It is so successful that our French universities are now exporting their courses! The University of Paris Dauphine, for example, offers a training programme for lawyers... It is one of the few that have understood that "people who have tried video-conferencing want more"... While 80% of universities in the United States have online courses, less than 3% in France in 2013...
Today, online courses have become widespread in many fields.
And among them, Tibetan Energetics offers you 365 days a year, a programme to take care of yourself! After a year of online courses delivered from November 2016 to May 2017, I offer you for the year 2017-18 a very flexible program!
Every day I do a video conference through a platform allowing me to offer you access to the course at any time of the day! Yes, you read that right! From 5 am to 10 pm, you can practice!
From your smartphone, your tablet or your computer, in 1 minute you will be in the room with me and you will be able to give yourself 1 hour of mindfulness through the origins of mindfulness! At the origins, yes I specify it because recently I could see on a forum that meditation had nothing to do in a list of practices that (in reality) derived from Buddhist meditation ... but this will be the subject of a future article ...
The practice is open to all! It is not about religion for atheists, it is not about lineage for Buddhists, it is just about breath, self, mindfulness. The gentle movements practiced with awareness alternate around the sitting posture (no need for crossed legs for those who can't), to the rhythm of the inner gaze and the breath.
Result? thoughts calm down and the mind clears up... tense muscles relax... stress gives way to calm... well-being gently settles in... you can choose to practice 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), at the time of your choice... or 5 times a week (Monday to Friday)... or every day!
Know that, if you enter into an intensive practice, as it is advised in the Tibetan system, at a rate of 2 sessions per day every day, you will very quickly see the effects of an astonishing transformation... Know also that by practicing 3 times a week, you will already enter a magnificent well-being... especially as at the end of each course... I give you "homework" to learn how to integrate the benefits of the practice in your daily life and to transform yourself for good... because the goal is not to be zen in the well-defined space where you practice, but to bring the practice outside your comfort zone.... because there is the real challenge.... there we can talk about real well-being and then real transformation...
Come on, enough of the blabla... You now have no excuse not to enter into a personal and inner discipline that opens you up to the outside world.
