Note pour the illusionists of spirituality

Yes, well obliged! I must have about 1500 "facebook friends" right now, and most are "supposedly" in a spiritual orientation. Or I wonder about this spirituality. The spirituality of the physical body? The spirituality of Illusion? The spirituality of the "bisounours, everything is beautiful, every thing is nice"?

Yesterday I shared a video of Tibetan funerals. Strangely, the comments have been masked, it is noted that only me can see? maybe you can? In short, it is not the fact of seeing or not seeing who is important, but the comments that arrived and who were disapproving.

One comment said that it was not possible to share a video like that, it was shocking, it was necessary to put the warnings, or even that it should not be published ...  Then it is done, no worries, it has been reported to Facebbok by one of my 1500 "facebook friends" so i had to sign Facebook charters, ... and it is written only me now can see it.

I would now like to bring a question. What is your body? Muscles, flesh, fat, blood, bones, marrow, essences, ... If you are in a spiritual belief, it means, that you think there is something else in your body then a heap of organic matter. This means that you are conscious of a consciousness and that this consciousness is independent of your body.

Do you think, then, that when you die you will take this pile of physical materials with you into the afterlife?
Whatever conceptions we have, according to the different spiritualities, of what is the consciousness, of what is the hereafter, the common point in all directions is that the only thing that will remain here in this world is the set of organic materials that make up our body.

This set, at death time, in our society, has a habit of being put in a box and devoured by maggots, beetles, ... not to mention our billions of bacteria that will be implemented and then spread in all parts of the body in order to digest it from the inside, we are talking about natural decay ... The other funeral solution, more and more in use in our society, is to be consumed by fire.
In both cases, we find that this set of organs in which we lived, for which we have developed so many attachments, will be no more than a pile of ash or will feed thousands of insects.
So there is nothing different from the Tibetan funeral rites where the body is eaten by the vultures.

Then what is shocking? Or why be shocked by these images?
Simply because we live in a world of illusions.
A world where everything is hidden. Whether the body is buried or cremated, in both cases we will not see anything. At death, the funeral undertakes to clothe it, make it up to fill the lack of obvious vitality, perfume it to avoid odors, in short, when we see it one last time before the box closes, the body looks perfect.
We therefore have very few opportunities to really look at reality and to question ourselves about our attachments to the physical body, especially since our society creates absolutely all possible stratagems, especially through advertisements on our social networks and our posts. television, as well as all the innovations to induce us to idolize still more this physical body ...
I would therefore like to say to all the "illusionists of spirituality" that spirituality is not a dream. This is not a golden kingdom at the Bisounours. Spirituality must not be separated from the reality of life. The reality of life is that from the moment we are born, we are already on our way to death since we are born and therefore we are already aging. From the age of 25, our bodies show the first signs of aging and therefore of decomposition. The moment this physical body stops functioning, it will enter its decay process.
Why is it essential to bring this point that we reject so strongly in our Western societies? Most neo-spiritualities completely obscure this aspect yet inherent to life! It is impossible to deny it, so it is. We are born, we grow old, we die, we rot. We? No ! Our rotten body! This mass of muscles, flesh, fat, blood, bone, marrow, ...

Tibetans are a people who have totally integrated spiritual understandings into their culture. The body is only an envelope that we live for a given time. It's a bit like going to the hotel. We rent the hotel room for one night. The next morning we have to return the room and leave. Are we tied to the bed of the room? In its bathroom? Do you want to take the room with you because you want it too much? No, of course. Thus, in everyday life, we must learn to perceive the body as a simple hotel room that we live for a given time. We take care, of course, but we must be aware that this rental is only temporary, and that it is only a rental. We live there, in this body, but it is not us. It is not our consciousness which is much more subtle than the gross aspect of this physical body.
It is essential to meditate on these aspects in order to die in peace because one of the 3 main causes of our sufferings is attachment. The attachment to this self, to this self, which takes root in the attachment to this body.
It is therefore essential to detach oneself from this attachment, without losing sight of the fact that the body remains our temple in the path to enlightenment, its doors being the senses, but this relation of the body to the senses must be lived in the detachment. .
In the Tibetan environment, there are many meditations to teach us to free ourselves from attachment to the body and funerary rites are part of this understanding or rather denote the realization of this understanding.
In the end the dead body is more than a pile of meat to feed vultures rather than flies ... so it's the same.
I close this post to tell my "Facebook friends" that if their spirituality does not allow them to understand the essence of life, there is no problem, but please, if it bothers you, go your way rather than "posting to Facebook" a video that is only a reflection of a spiritually evolved culture of over 18,000 years of experience ....
